The quartet has performed at events including the Chamber Music America Conference, Texas Music Educators Association Convention, Navy Band International Saxophone Symposium, and North American Saxophone Alliance Biennial Conference. Through Zed, Bennette is particularly committed to expanding the saxophone quartet repertoire through commissioning and performing new works by emerging and underrepresented composers.
As a soloist, Bennette was the 2026 First Prize winner of the Vandoren Emerging Artists’ Competition and received Third Prize in the 2026 North American Saxophone Alliance Collegiate Solo Competition. His artistic interests center on contemporary music, collaboration, and expanding the role of the saxophone within classical music.
